Demo Video
The recording below walks through a complete analysis session: uploading a thermal video, running the AI detection, reviewing tracks, and reading the emergence count and export outputs.
How It Works
TrackBats processes thermal video in three stages. Each stage is fast, automated, and produces outputs the ecologist can review before moving to the next.
1. Upload
Upload your thermal footage directly from the browser. Files up to several GB are supported. No specialist software required on your machine.
2. AI Processing
The detection model runs on the footage and reconstructs bat trajectories frame by frame. The result is a structured list of tracks with timestamps and directions.
3. Results
Review the emergence count, heatmap, highlights video, and export the track data as a GeoPackage or CSV for reporting.
What you get
Every analysis session produces: an emergence count with re-entry correction, a timestamped track list, a spatial heatmap of bat activity, a highlights video condensed from the full recording, and a full data export in standard GIS formats.
